PEUGEOT 3008 - FUNCTIONALITY APPEA AND ECONOMY



  The Peugeot 3008's second generation has definitely become more attractive, but we've also checked a far more powerful, functional, economical part... The Peugeot 3008 is among the leaders that attracts at every turn, and at the same time manages to be avant-garde and stylish. At some point it is like a kitten for mild forms, and with some details such as high plastic shields, the vertical front mask, a vast side of a robust jacket wakes the lion in it. The new 3008 is mounted on the new EMP2 platform, which apart from increasing the wheelbase, allowed a 100 kg reduction in relation to the predecessor. Depending on the model, engine and equipment, the vehicle mass varies from 1,325 to 1,375 kg. The novelty is the length of 4.45 m, which is 8 cm longer than the first generation, while the wheelbase is 2.67 m, which means 6 cm more. It looks robust with the same width of 1.84 m and a height of 1.62 m, large wheels, as well as 22 cm away from the substrate. The Peugeot 3008 got the highest ratings for its style and a contemporary design approach. The expression here is clear, with cheerful lines, attractive shapes, convex and concave surfaces. The front is dominated by a wide, vertically placed mask of the cooler, with a centrally positioned logo of the recognizable lion. The upper part is wide, and in the lower it narrows, so continues under the front bumper which is visually very effective. The mask line is accompanied by light elements with prominent LED elements of the daylight. Capacitor engine is tall, long and completely horizontal. The side line of the body is lifted, logically extended on the engine cover, and ends on the rear with a remarkably design tailor lid on the boot. In the back there are predominant light compositions with well-thought-out graphics, like the lions' claws. The guards, like the doors and the thresholds, are perfectly fitted here. Inside the incredible impression leaves the dashboard that is 100% digital and you can change its graphics in multiple modes. The screen size of the instrument panel is 8 inches and has more than solid visibility. In addition to the digital instrument panel, there is a 12.3-inch central screen that controls the audio composition, ventilation system, navigation and other car functions. Space in the passenger compartment really has enough, whether it's a rear or the front part. The visibility is good, but for parking in certain spaces, the sensing sensors are necessary. The trunk offers a solid 520 liters, and if necessary it can be extended to 1,580 liters. Under the cover of the narrow model was the well-known 1.6-liter engine with power of 120 hp and 300 Nm of torque. This packed model with just under 1.5 tonnes accelerates to 100 in 11.2 seconds, and the maximum speed is 189 km / h. The engine is in conjunction with a precise six-speed manual transmission but should not be forgotten on the Stop and Start composition. Thanks to this combination, the average consumption in urban conditions is from 6.2 to 6.61 / 100 km, while in the open it ranges from 3.7 to 5.41 / 100 km. For good driving characteristics, there is also a set of driver assistance systems in the ADAS package from the latest generation: CDS Dynamic Stability Control, ASR Anti-Slip Control, AFU Emergency Brake Assist, REF Electronic Distribution of Power for braking, DAA1- warning for driving too long, traffic signal recognition, Hill Assist electric parking brake, which play a key role in the Peugeot 3008, being among the safest as evidenced by Euro Ncap tests.

Volkswagen T-ROC 2019

 The Volkswagen T-ROC is designed to fit into the company's range under Tiguan. The front has a wide, hexagonal grid with thin headlights that interact intently in the corners.
